At the center of each diptych – nine in all – is a circular image, mandala-like, in soft greens and blues and yellows printed on translucent paper. Musical notations and delicate line art illustrations depict what we hold in common across cultural divides, among these: linden, oak, a robin’s nest, sweet water trout, and salty sea.
